Screenwriter Dan Fogelman has not only racked up an impressive list of movies (Cars & Tangled), but his landed some impressive paydays (Crazy Stupid Love —$2.5 million) and, according to the LA Times, Fogelman sold a pitch for Imagine for $2 million (with an additional $3 million if the movie is produced.) He’s having a good run.
“I don’t outline extensively, I kind of just write—I kind of vomit it out when I’m writing. I tend to write a little too sporadically in terms of what I write—but what I write is kind of short, focused bits of writing. Then I just write a lot quickly and kind of work on fixing it after.”
